The Role
This role entails supporting in the planning and developing for the future of the brand, helping to ensure integration of the brand strategy and the planning process.
The key responsibilities will be:
- Producing seasonal branch / department sales and space plans
- Managing the new / modernisation store programme
- In season performance reviews to potentialise sales
- Supplying the B&M teams with sales and space plans
- Liaison with the Buying and Merchandising teams, as well as Finance and Concessions is an important aspect of the role. Regular communication with retail, in particular Area Managers, is also essential
- Regular ad hoc analysis as and when Brand requires
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:-
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- An ability to pay attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Be able to communicate and influence at a management level
- Flexibility and open to change
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Access useful
